For over 20 years, Robert’s vision and leadership has crafted Roswell’s progressive DNA, woven into every project focused on pushing the industry forward with patented innovations and award-winning marine audio, towers, racks, and accessories.

His passion to improve the time we spend on the water has now evolved into a mission marching beyond products, recently venturing into new territory as the elected President of the Watersports Industry Association (WSIA).


CJ Vlahovich

Senior VP/GM, H.O. Sports Co. / Hyperlite Wake

Vice President

CJ Vlahovich is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of HO Sports / Hyperlite, the world’s leader in watersports gear including equipment categories such as Waterski, Wakeboard, Wakesurf, Paddle Sports and the largest supplier of United Sates Coast Guard Approved Neoprene Life vests. CJ has made a career out of the watersports space with over 25 years at HO Sports / Hyperlite.

Joining HO Sports in 1996 CJ has held many positions within the company, showcasing his strong strategic mindset. Skilled at product and brand development, coupled with building and maintaining exceptional teams and business relationships, elevated CJ to the top spot. Alongside his excellent tenured team HO Sports/Hyperlite has grown three-fold into the largest supplier of Water Sports equipment with brands synonymous with the category.

CJ’s passion and skillset for the watersports space has now extended into the industry as a whole, now providing time and guidance as the elected Vice President of the Water Sports Industry Association. As a lifelong water sports enthusiast with a passion for boating, CJ resides in the lakeside city of Kirkland, Washington with his wife Molly and two sons Jack and Brady.


Wayne Wilson

CFO, Malibu Boats

Treasurer

Mr. Wilson is the Chief Financial Officer of Malibu Boats, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of waterski, wakeboard and wake surf boats. Since joining Malibu in 2009, the company has grown nearly twenty-fold, expanding into sterndrive and saltwater fishing boats. Today, Malibu is one of the world’s largest recreational boat manufacturers with nearly $1 billion in revenue and eight unique market leading brands.

Prior to joining Malibu, Mr. Wilson served on the company’s executive board while working as a Vice President at Black Canyon Capital, a Los Angeles based private equity firm. Mr. Wilson received a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and began his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse.

A lifelong board sports enthusiast, Mr. Wilson has been wakeboarding for nearly 25 years. He resides in Knoxville, TN with his wife and four children.


James Vaught

Owner, Paradise Watersports — Panama City Beach, Florida

James Vaught has been involved in Parasailing since 1988 when he began working with a ground crew. After buying his first parasail boat in 1997, he was trained by representatives from the manufacturer, Premium Boats.

James has been Parasailing ever since in Panama City Beach, Florida, with as many as 11 boats in operation at one time and currently operating seven with the highly acclaimed Paradise Watersports operation.

James has been the leader of many other successful businesses including Aquatic Adventures, Dolphin Express (100 passenger speed boat), Team Aquatic Charters, Smiles Beach Photography, Recorded Rides and Paradise Rentals.

After many years of success in the water sports industry, James is most proud of his family, being married since 1997 to Shawna Vaught with two children, Caitlyn (23) and Kyleigh (21) and four Pomeranian dogs.


Greg Meloon

President, Nautique

Greg Meloon is the President of Nautique, a subsidiary of Correct Craft, that has been a marine manufacturing company with a passion for innovation since 1925. As a part of the lineage of Nautique’s founder, Walter C. Meloon, Greg continues the legacy of his family and their contributions to the marine industry.

Greg has been with Nautique since 1996 and has served in several different roles. He started out in sales for the first 10 years until he went on to lead the Product Design and Development department for nine years. Greg has been in his current Presidential role for the past three years.

Over the course of his career, Greg has served the Watersports Industry Association in various ways. In the recent past, he served as their Founder and Chair of the Towboat Committee. Greg is currently on WSIA’s Board of Directors and has been since 2009. He is also involved as an Executive Committee Member and has been since 2015.

Greg earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Indiana University. He went on to gain his Master of Business Administration at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and recently attended a Disruptive Innovation Executive Program at Harvard University to further enhance the future of the marine space.

Greg is married to Kelly Meloon. They live with their children Braxton and Kendley Anne in Oviedo, Florida.
