Rental Boat Safety Programs and Contact Info

Summary: Rental Boat Safety is a National Boating Safety Program funded by the U.S. Coast Guard that promotes safe boating practices. This campaign targets non-traditional boaters that do not actively participate or engage in the boating lifestyle. The rental boat market is rapidly expanding. Rental Boat Safety partners directly with Rental Liveries, BLA’s and customers, offering free resources that are utilized to create a safe boating environment for liveries and customers. Our website hosts extensive video training and knowledge assessment modules covering a comprehensive training segment for popular rentals such as Power Boats, Personal Watercrafts, Canoes & Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards. Liveries within the Rental Boat Safety Community encourage their customers to complete the safety assessments prior to renting their vessel. In 2016, we launched the campaign on Digital Platforms, making our content more accessible than ever before.
